The school district is broken up into Trustee Areas. The numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Each area comprises a segment of the total district area of Placentia and Yorba Linda, California.

When you vote in the next election, you will select a single candidate who is running within your Trustee Area.
We will provide to you, in this document, information on the candidates running for each district (some with recommendations). Thus, there will be 5 groups of candidates listed by area. Your ballot will offer to you only the candidates running within your district. The district’s are often referred to “areas” such as Area 1, Area 2, Area 3, Area 4, Area 5. (There is no area 6)

- Marilyn Anderson (Endorsed – Recommended for this election)
- Marie Lupita Stubbs. (Not endorsed – Endorsed by Mom’s For Liberty)

- Misty Janssen (Endorsed- Recommended for this election)
- Leandra Blades (incumbent not endorsed, questionable, tied to USI decision and other financial issues.)
Area 4 (Next year’s election)
- Todd Frazier (incumbent, not up for this election.)
Area 5 (Next year’s election)
- Carrie Buck (incumbent, not up for this election.)
Note that from the list above there seem to be at least two possible disturbing factors that allegedly seem to be at play to possibly hurt our education system.
#1). Mom’s For Liberty
“Moms for Liberty is an American political organization that advocates against school curricula that mention LGBT rights, race and ethnicity, critical race theory, and discrimination. Multiple chapters have also campaigned to ban books that address gender and sexuality from school libraries.” Please consider not voting for anyone who advocates for this organization.
